John Cleese to headline Australia’s first Just For laughs comedy festival
Sydney Opera House has launched a three-year partnership with the world’s biggest comedy festival, Just For Laughs. The inaugural Just for Laughs at Sydney Opera House will be held from 1-4 September, 2011. Over the course of the festival there will be two International Comedy Galas and five solo shows featuring comedians from around the world. John Cleese will be hosting the International Comedy Galas and this will mark the first time he has performed in Australia. Tickets for performances go on sale on Friday 24 June and are available from www.sydneyoperahouse.com
