Noosa Food and Wine Festival goes global with name change
The Noosa Food and Wine Festival has announced a new name for the popular event, now to be known as The Noosa International Food and Wine Festival. The name change reflects the increasing global interest in the festival itself as well as the new focus on both Australian and international chefs and cooking identities. From 17 to 20 May 2012, two hundred of the world’s most prominent chefs, winemakers, media and food personalities are expected to descend upon Noosa and the Sunshine Coast. Already confirmed to participate are molecular gastronomist and ‘Demon Chef’, Alvin Leung of Bo Innovation in Hong Kong and Davide Scabin of Combal Zero in Turin Italy who will both participate in the Qantas ‘Best Dinner in the World’ event.
